I was apprehensive about having surgery but the moment Dr. Daoud entered the room, he put me at ease. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor to cover and explain every concern, surgical detail, recovery, risk, etc. I told Dr. Daoud that it was worth waiting for an appointment given his expertise specifically in hernia repair.

Dr. Daoud had reviewed my medical history and was aware of my previous surgeries and what options, recommendation he felt could help with the pain I was experiencing on my left groin area. He provided me with a pain management facility to set up an appointment to possibly help with treatment for the pain.

I scheduled an appointment in April but not seen until August 6th which didn't make me very happy. I would recommend Dr. Doud he was great. I don't know how you fix an almost 4 month wait.

So there is one issue that Hartford health coach should consider. Their protocol is a 15 minute arrival window or you run the risk of having to reschedule your appointment. Yesterday I was caught in traffic there was snow and ice all kinds of things that human beings have no control over. I did make two attempts and called and let them know ahead of time. I may be late but the protocol rear it’s ugly head and I was told if you’re not here in 15 minutes you’ll have to be rescheduled. That is not user-friendly bedside manner of any kind. While it doesn’t reflect the care that Hartford gives they should consider to either train the employees to take a little more of a human approach or look at their protocol to upgrade

Dr. Daound was very professional as well as understanding. He was compassionate and helpful in offering alternatives to surgery which I appreciated very much. I gave him 4 stars because he was over 35 minutes late, however the medical assistant did come in to say he was running late, and he did apologize when he came into see me. I will definitely suggest him for a surgical consult to anyone in need.

Dr Daoud made me comfortable and provided a thorough explanation of his findings and what corrective actions he recommended. He discovered a condition I was unaware of that impacted the diagnosis. The assistant/technician was also most helpful in explaining "next steps" and provided their phone number in the event I encountered problems.
